Georgie & Josh at Millbridge Court Farnham

Millbridge Court Wedding Photos

A relaxed summer wedding in Surrey

Third time lucky - Georgie and Josh were finally able to marry at Millbridge Court, in the company of all their family and friends last August. I reckon it was a day worth waiting for, as the weather was perfect (warm but not too hot) and everyone was in an extra happy mood with pandemic restrictions just having been lifted.

Millbridge Court is such a perfect venue for an intimate, medium-sized wedding. There’s room for both bride and groom to get ready at the venue in completely seperate areas, and both the indoor and outdoor ceremony options are beautiful. So whatever the weather, you should have a brilliant day. (Check out Jenya and Dan’s blog if you’d like to see some rainy wedding photos at Millbridge).

I had a lovely morning capturing the girls getting ready, while my second photographer Beth was with the boys. We were doing both photos and a highlight video, so it was a busy day. It was the first time I shot an outdoor ceremony at the venue, and the backdrop was just beautiful. I loved all the personal touches of the day, like the home-made craft beer and curry favours, and you could tell people hadn’t seen each other for a really long time, by the super cheery and happy vibes all around. It was so nice to capture people’s smiles without masks on once again.

Georgie and Josh went to Frensham Pond on one of their first dates, so it was an obvious location for their evening photo shoot. It’s just a few minutes down the road from Millbridge Court, so we jumped in my car and whizzed down there for a few photos before their first dance. It was such a beautiful time of day to be out and go for a walk. The heather was in full bloom, and we couldn’t have been happier.
