Jota and David at Old Marylebone Town Hall

Old Marylebone Town Hall wedding photos

An intimate London elopement in Marylebone and Coal Drops Yard

I was really happy when Jota and David told me they were going for lunch at St Pancras after their wedding ceremony at the Old Marylebone Town Hall. I had been due to take photos at Coal Drops Yard for an elopement just before Christmas, and had got all excited about the area, when the wedding had to be cancelled due to Covid. So it was wonderful to finally go back and explore this gorgeous area again.

Jota and David (and baby bump!) were joined by two of their closest friends for their ceremony in the Soho Room at the Marylebone Town Hall, which was short, sweet, and wonderfully heartfelt and joyous. We then took a few photos on the steps before jumping in a cab to Kings Kross.

If you remember last May, it was one of those when it just refused to become spring, with super chilly temperatures and lots of rain. And that’s what we got. Despite it not being terribly pleasant to walk around in, the light and mood was totally gorgeous and worked so well for this industrial warehouse kind of setting. I would have wished a warmer wedding day for them, but I absolutely love the vibe of their photos.
