Old Marylebone Town Hall wedding - Julia & Alec

Old Marylebone Town Hall wedding photos

An intimate London wedding in the Knightsbridge Room

Julia and Alec’s intimate wedding at the Old Marylebone Town Hall took place in early October this year - that weekend when summer suddenly returned and we were rewarded with 25 degrees and lots of sunshine. It being a bit later in the year, the light was absolutely stunning all day long, and I had the best time capturing these two’s gorgeous Marylebone wedding day. I met them at the town hall just before their ceremony in the bright and airy Knightsbridge Room. It was a fairly small wedding, with their close family and friends attending, so nice and relaxed. As it was a Saturday, it was pretty busy at the town hall, and we had to get organised quickly to make the most of our slot on the stairs for group photos and of course lots of confetti shots after the ceremony.

Julia and Alec had booked a vintage London cab to drive us around after the ceremony for couple photos and we spent a lovely hour or so making our way towards Clerkenwell, jumping out for photos along the way. I love a nice muse street and there are so many gorgeous ones dotted around this part of town. They’d hired out the Lady Ottoline Pub for their reception, and their guests were already enjoying drinks and canapes when we arrived. After a bit of mingling, we had a good bit of fun with a champagne tower, followed by cake cutting and some heartfelt speeches. It was all super casual, and I absolutely adored the beautiful simple flower displays dotted all around the pub. The rooms upstairs had been set up for dinner and a gorgeous table with photos, polaroid camera and lots of treats for the guests. We popped out again for photos after dinner in the streets nearby before their first dance.
