Rachel and Graham's micro-wedding at St Luke's Church in Chelsea

I have walked past this beautiful old church many times on my way to photographing Chelsea Town Hall weddings. But I had never actually gone into St Luke’s until Rachel and Graham’s wedding in September. It’s as impressive from the inside as out, with the spectacular stained glass window and lovely natural light streaming in. The church only allows photographs to be taken before and after the service, so I was a little limited, but it was still an absolute pleasure to capture this party of Rachel and Graham’s big day in such a magnificent space.

Rachel and Graham were supposed to have got married in 2020, and like so many, had to postpone their wedding. We had already met up last year anyway, as they decided to book an engagement / family shoot with me, and it was so nice to see them again, and their little boy - who was not such much a baby anymore! It was a super relaxed and stylish day spent with their closest family and friends.

After the ceremony, we went for a walk around my favourite little streets in Chelsea, and were lucky enough to be invited into one of the gorgeous private gardens in the area, which we had completely to ourselves. A lovely little wedding gift to them from a kind local resident. We then went on to Beaufort House on King Street, where I left them to have lunch with their guests.
