Emily & Jack's wedding at Isis Farmhouse Oxford

Festival wedding at Isis River Farmhouse Iffley

Oxford wedding photography

Emily and Jack wanted to keep things informal, relaxed and fun on their wedding day. After a beautiful ceremony at Pembroke College Oxford, where they met, we got on a riverboat to the Isis River Farmhouse for their reception and a good party. I loved the vibe of the entire day. When I met with Emily and Jack beforehand, they told me it was more important to them that everyone had a great time, than everything being perfect - which I think is the ideal attitude for enjoying your day.

Their ceremony, despite being in such a traditional building, was super cheerful, easy going and wonderfully personal. We then enjoyed music, drinks and a little dance on the lawn, before walking over to the river to catch a boat to Iffley Lock.

More friends were joining at the pub and the atmosphere was perfect as soon as we arrived. We snuck off for a few photos of Emily and Jack, and then it was on to outdoor speeches and incredibly gorgeous vegan buffet at sunset.

Some kind words from Emily:

“Diana is an absolutely fabulous photographer - my partner and I are so glad we asked her to take our wedding photos. She met with us a couple of times before and made sure she truly understood the vibe of our day and how best to capture it. She captured so many wonderful moments, that we as bride and groom missed, so looking through her photos has allowed us to see more of our day than we would have otherwise. Her photos manage to perfectly convey our festival-style wedding and her use of lighting and editing skills are exceptional. I couldn't recommend her enough. Diana was a joy to work with and we will treasure these photos forever.”
